X-Men Origins: Wolverine

(Section before you face Gambit 2nd time) -- There will be a section before fighting Gambit the 2nd time. There will be 5 4-armed chicks that are HELL to finish off if they start spearing you... once they start spearing, its pretty tough to beat... Run straight and to the left where there is an exit to a wooden scaffold... Position your self towards the door and press B and the direction of the door so that you throw the 4-armed chick over the edge... Roll out of the way/Counter if a spear is coming for you... Rinse repeat... It beats the hell out of fighting them one on one since they take so much damage...

Once you hit Gambit, counter attacking is probably your best bet... If not, a slash here a slash there is all youre going to get... When the cards are coming at you, you need to block block block until he stops shooting... This will set you up for a lunge attack... Good luck... This one seemed to never end lol

Ok, in theory this fight is simple, you need to wait until Gambit fires at you and then deflect it back at him, once he is stunned lunge at him and do as much damage as possible.

There are a couple of parts during this fight where the deflected shots are aimed at the supports of one of the letters (this is fine) just keep deflecting them, and that's all this fight is, counter-attacking. However it took me about 3 HOURS to do because I was continuously bombarded by glitches, and after some research, found out that a LOT of other people had this problem.

The biggest glitch is after you lunge at Gambit (usually when he is on the left-most letter) he will spear you and try to throw you off, the game then prompts you to mash A, after doing so Wolverine will climb back up and then either none of you can move, so you both fall and mission failed, or you can move, but Gambit goes down with the letter, making the battle unbeatable.

How I got around this was when he hangs you over the edge, and you are told to mash A, DONT MASH IT, instead just hit it enough so that you are almost up and then a couple more taps, if done right Wolverine should dive up, knee Gambit in the face (sending him to another letter), and then you have a couple of seconds to move before the letter falls, At which point I just lunged at him and continued battering him.

You will run into this "MASH A" part twice in this fight, just make sure you don't press it too much or when you get up Wolverine won't knee Gambit, and you will need to reload from checkpoint.

Good luck with this one, I was ready to throw my TV out the window!
