How to unlock the Ultimate Wolverine achievement in X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Definitive Guide

When Nord says that shooting Weapon X would be "a waste of a bullet" and shoots the W.E.N.D.I.G.O. tank instead, that's your cue. Run to the other three tanks and break them open -- you've got to fight all four of the beasties at the same time or it won't count.

The prototypes will occasionally hurt each other with their ground punches, which damage everything nearby. At the same time, the helicopter will be trying to gun you down, and it will hit them too. If you want to make that happen a little more often, try dodging right through the middle of the group so more of the enemies' attacks are directed toward each other, but don't chance it unless you're looking pretty decent health-wise.

Like most fights in this game, the longer it goes on, the more it's in your favor, since you'll be regenerating damage and your enemies won't. Just dodge their attacks (LT+RT+left stick), hit them when you can, and lunge onto their backs when you see an opening, but don't be greedy. If another comes at you while you're on top of one, jump away. If you're not absolutely sure you see a safe chance to lunge, don't risk it. If you're low on health, back off, dodge, and stay on your toes. The key here is patience.

Of course, if you're hunting for all the achievements from this game, the easiest thing is to go for this one by replaying the level (chapter 2, checkpoint "What I Do Isn't Very Nice") AFTER you've earned Samurai and/or Fully Loaded. At level 39+ with full reflexes, it doesn't take a whole lot of effort to take down almost anything. They'll drop pretty quickly no matter what you do.

One thing I noticed last night while getting the achievement; there is what looks like an air conditioning unit on the roof in the far right corner as you enter the area. You can jump behind this making you all but immune to most of the monsters' and helicopter's attacks. The monsters can't get round it either so all you have to do is wait for one to turn its back then jump on and slash away.

The mistake you can make here is not slashing open the containment tanks that have the Wendigo's in them at the beginning.. If you just defeat the one that's after you and then break open the others - you won't get this. ALL FOUR must be loose and after you at one time - and then you defeat them all - in order to get this (that's why the achievement says that you fought them "at the same time"). So, as soon as this starts - slash open the other containment tanks and then kill them in the same way you have against Wendigo's throughout the game (though certainly it gets a little trickier with 4). Wendigo's in general really aren't hard - just takes patience.

This achievement is not too difficult. When your at the dock or lake with 4 containers, Agent Zero will shoot one. Within these are a W.E.N.D.I.G.O. When the first one is loose, fight and keep on lunging onto its back. When the health of it is really low(like a little slit of health) is left, jump off and crack open another and do the same thing that you did before. Just make sure that you dont kill one before all 4 are loose. If you lunged onto one with really low health just jump off. This is easier and quicker.

Also, when Agent Zero is shooting at you from the chopper, the WENDIGOs will lose health when they get hit by the bullets. Just run around, regenerate health and attack when you can.

fist make sure there all out of there capsules. then just stand behind the generators and let them all come around you, then jump out slash them till your health goes down then go back to behind the generators till you build up more health and keep doing this. Goes faster than just lunging onto there backs.

There is only one location where this can be done, and that is at the end of Chapter 2, just before attacking Nord on his helicopter. He will snipe one W.E.N.D.I.G.0 prototype in a container tank, then a battle will ensue. There will be 3 other W.E.N.D.I.G.0 prototypes in this environment, although they may not be released during the chaos of the battle.

To earn the trophy, you must have all 4 attacking you at the same time. The other container tanks may be broken by a W.E.N.D.I.G.0, or you can free them yourself.

It can be difficult to clear this with all 4 attacking at once. It is wise to try to weaken the initial W.E.N.D.I.G.0 before releasing the second, then weaken it as well. Be careful not to overly weaken them, however, as they will take damage from each other and you don't want one to die before all 4 are released.

Once all are out, try to take down the weakest one or two, as that will even the fight. If you can't lunge to them, Rage Attacks will work to some extent, and staying close to them and dodging will result in them damaging each other.

If you are still struggling, you can come back to this section after finishing the game. Once fully upgraded, this battle is much easier as Wolverine does a lot more damage.

If you do need to replay it, the closest checkpoint is Chapter 2, Level 5 (What I Do Isn't Very Nice).

When Agent Zero shoots the Prototype flask, you will see 3 more of them. Free them too and defeat all four at the same time.
