How to unlock the Minigame Master achievement in Yakuza 3 - Definitive Guide

This one is trouble. It involves perfecting and completing every mini-game Yakuza has to offer. It's probably the most time consuming trophy in the game, next to "Sub-story Completionist". For help and tips on this trophy, visit this thread here.

In total, the game features 16 mini-games out of 20 present in the Japanese version. 14 of them are quite easy to get, but the remaining 2 make you suffer.

Game 1: Golf. The difficulty is that on 9 holes you need to end up with a score of -5. To do this you need to learn to play well, but this is simple, it is more difficult to concentrate and choose the right force of impact.

On the first hole, it is advisable to roll the ball into the hole in 2 strokes, then you will get an Eagle (that is -2 ) this is a very good reference point in the future. If it doesn’t work out, then you need to hit it with at least the 3rd shot and get a Birdie ( -1 point) because the 4th shot will bring 0 points, and on the first hole this is bad.

On the second hole it would be good to hit the hole with 2 shots and get -1 . You need to choose another 120 stick and hit it somewhere at 100, then the ball will roll on its own, and if you hit all 120 it can roll a little far. Here's a good deal. If you hit a 2-putt on the first hole (-2) and hit a 2-putt on the second hole, then you will have a -3 . This is an excellent result. A combination of -1 from the first hole and -1 from the second hole will also be good. Another acceptable combination is -2 from the first hole and 0 from the second, in which case it will be -2 from two holes.

On the remaining holes you only need to score -2 , and on the rest you need to play 0 . The main thing is to avoid Bogie (+1) and Double Bogie(+2) . Advice: play a couple of matches with a notebook and write down how many shots you hit the pocket and see how many points you got -2, -1, 0, +1, +2...

Example: You hit 1 hole in 3 strokes and received -1 . Therefore, we count in the opposite direction: 2 hits -2 , 1 hit -3 . Now in the other direction: 4 hits 0 , 5 hits -1, 6 hits -2 . By creating such a composition for 9 holes, you will make your task easier and will soberly know which shot you should hit with iron. After hours of practice, you will learn to make fewer and fewer mistakes and end the game without + points. If after the 8th hole you have -3 , do not go out, if you hit with 2 strokes you will get -2 .

Game 2: Baseball. (Last Difficulty) The game is more difficult than golf, but with practice it is still possible to master it. The game consists of 9 rectangles of sectors not connected to each other, built into 1 large rectangle with numbers from 1-9. To pass you need to score 1800 points. Everything would be fine, but here the sight is taken away from us and we will have to aim with our eye, estimating the distance. Again, take a notebook and draw 2 such boards on it. Why 2? Because you need to hit 18 times and only miss 2 times. I draw your attention, don’t chase after the target, it won’t help one bit, you’ll just miss the ball in vain if you don’t hit. You will score 300 points, but if you learn to count the points on the scoreboard, you will understand that they will not save you. Let's go back to the notebook: So we drew 2 boards. We start the game and look at the trajectory of the sword of speed and what the serve is called (it didn’t hit, it didn’t hit, it didn’t matter) we numbered under the first rectangle 1-10 under the second 11-20 hits and enter the trajectory under 1 number Name of the hit ( For example: straight, arc from the left, arc from the right, you can draw with arrows) and the force of the impact. The strikes do not change with the new game, only the strength may diverge a little. and so on for 20 hits.

Next comes the most difficult part : you must learn to understand how far to move the invisible cursor to get into the sector. If you aim a blow, you hit it in the sector; if you hit it, write it down in the table with a pencil. ( For example: 1(1) i.e. 1 sector 1 strike with a pencil in the drawn rectangle in the desired sector. Then carry out another 8 strikes and when everyone starts hitting different sectors, leave the first table and move on to 2 (consider the first successful, i.e. .k. you will know for sure that you can hit that sector with this or that blow) Do the same with 10-18 strikes. And check the last 2 reserve ones for any sectors, if you hit it, we enter it as a spare one in that sector. This means the following : If you missed the right ball in the right sector in the 2nd run, leave it and finish it off with one of the remaining ones so as not to break the table. If in the 1st run, you will have to improvise, but it will be easy with time and the table of shots.

And the last miracle of an idea, not yet tested, went without it, but I thought about it. If you start on a different difficulty level there is a crosshair. You can make the point on the string movable. And attach one end of the rope to the top of the TV, and the second end, taut, to the bottom. Right in the center of the sight and move a circle of paper or something else made of bright color towards the core of the sight. Quit and start on the Hardest level. The sight moves with the camera , so this method is reliable.

It's funny to read about your laces
I personally just took a piece of tape, made a mark with a marker and stuck it to the TV. It comes off easily, don't be afraid

Friends, going with adhesive tape from EnjoyMe is really the best choice. Start the game on any difficulty level except Extra Hard. Take PAPER tape and make yourself a crosshair right on the screen. Exit this game and go to Extra Hard. Use the list of udor tips from Scorpioz. Just don't forget to say thank you.

And go ahead!

See you around

Just today, while playing Extra Hard baseball, I found a way to instantly make life easier with this mini-game and complete it without much bother. Hit targets without sight? Forget it!

When playing on Hard, I noticed that the crosshair, no matter where you move it, specifically on the TV screen, does not change its position at all, it remains at one point. Seeing this, it dawned on me that thanks to this, you can make your own sight when playing on Extra Hard. I personally did this: I took a small cord, paused baseball while playing on Hard, and hung the cord in front of the TV screen so that its tip was strictly in the center of the sight. Then I went to hit balls on Extra Hard and aimed at the lace as if using an in-game sight - this made playing on Extra Hard literally much easier.

I don’t know why such a hint hasn’t appeared anywhere on the Internet until now, but it works 200%. So the only thing left now is golf.
