How to unlock the Business Card Hunter achievement in Yakuza 4 - Definitive Guide

There are 3 Hostess Clubs in Kamurocho: Shine, Jewel and Elise. Completing the substories “Akiyama vs Hostess Clubs”, “Tanimura vs Hostess Clubs” and “Kiryu vs Hostess Clubs” will net you all the business cards from Shine and Jewel.

To obtain business cards from Elise’s hostesses, you first need to complete Akiyama’s exclusive minigame Hostess Maker by finding 3 hostesses and training them up to the No.1 spot. Please refer to the Substory Guide on how to complete the 3 substories mentioned above, and the Hostess Maker Guide on how to complete the minigame.

Each hostess can only be requested by a specific character:

Akiyama - Erena (Jewel), Noa (Jewel), Rio (Shine)
Tanimura - Chihiro Ikki (Jewel), Himeka (Shine), Nanami*(Elise)
Kiryu - Maya (Jewel), Shizuka (Shine), Hiyori* (Elise), Kyoko* (Elise)
*Only available after Akiyama trains them up to No.1 spot.

You only need their original business cards; the business card you get from finishing their substories are not needed for the trophy.

If when you received all business cards from each hostess and the trophy still hasn't popped, try going back into any of the clubs and select "No Preference". The trophy should unlock then.

To get this trophy, all you need are the cards you receive on your first visit. The main thing is to find three girls for “Hostess Training”:

Hiyori - Near the main entrance of Millennium Tower, close to the phone booth.
Nanami - Cuez Bar, Underground Mall
Kyoko - Bantam Bar, Millennium Tower East

To become number 1, you need to upgrade three girl abilities to S rank. Then create (it’s better to save in slots, so as not to create what you need later) images according to the categories: Max Cute, Max Conservative, Max Flashy/Gorgeous. How to determine which image to use? It’s very simple... Every time we go around the establishment, windows pop up with the requirements for the image, take note of this and use it in the next round. This is roughly what happens there (“Conservative, Adorable/Cute, Glitzy/Flashy, Elegant/Gorgeous” and “Intelligent, Conversation/Talk, Beautiful”). In total, we play three rounds in one go. Then the statistics are summed up: When 3 parameters are at S rank and the sales rating is 150,000 yen, your ward will become number 1 in the rating.

After training three girls, visit Elise with Tanimura and Kazuma.

There are a total of 10 hostesses in the game, counting those trained by Shun: 3 for Akiyami, 3 for Tanimura and 4 for Kiryu. Saejima is not interested in girls, he has pistols. ^^

To get the trophy, you just need to go through a free (conditionally) acquaintance with hostesses by selecting “no special girl” or something like that in the menu at the entrance, and get cards of girls available for a specific character:

Akiyama - Noa & Erena from Jewel and Rio from Shine

Tanimura - Jewel's Chihiro, Shine's Himeka and Elise's Nanami*

Kiryuu - Maya from Jewel, Shizuka from Shine, Hiyori* & Kyoko* from Elise

* They need to be trained by playing as Akiyama. See the TetuONE hint for clues about the location of hostesses in training. How to create a number one hostess, look at the forum.

It may happen that, playing as each character, you went through all the hostesses and collected all the cards, but did not receive a trophy. Then in the final, when the heroes are together, each hero (well, except Saejima) go to each of the clubs and select the “no preference” option and the trophy will be yours.
