Here's a good way to amass ¥10 million:
1: A Dangerous Game (Tanimura's substory) is worth ¥3 million.
2: Purchase 1,000 chips at the casino and use a zero jewel at the Roulette table. Bet all your chips on 0 and 00 at 18:1 odds to win 18,000 chips. Alternatively, you can save and bet on 0 or 00 at 36:1 odds with a zero jewel to win 36,000 chips, which is what I did. You can purchase 20+ plates with one zero jewel. 20 plates go for ¥3 million.
3: Bet 10,000 chips at the baccarat table (SAVE first!!). You can find baccarat cheat pieces to help.
4: Cash in your chips for platinum plates (1,500 chips per plate). Platinum plates are worth ¥150,000.
5: Beat the game.
Clearing Easy Mode: ¥1 million
Clearing Normal Mode: ¥2 million
Clearing Hard Mode: ¥3 million
Clearing Ex-Hard Mode: ¥5 million

If you master the aiming sequence in the bowling minigame where you can bowl a strike virtually every frame, you can earn the Perfect Game Cup item for bowling a perfect game and 300 score at the Mach Bowl. The item is valued at ¥3 million when you sell it at Ebisu Pawn, and you can earn the item again and again every time you get the perfect game. Already did it three times with Tanimura!

Luckily, you can do this with Zero Jewels alone. There are 3 available in the game (Taihei Locker C5 in the drug store, Kiryu Substory #2 reward, & Premium Adventure S-Item Pack 6 from Bob the clown).
Winning 36,000 chips from each Zero Jewel = 108,000 chips total = 72 Platinum Plates = ¥10,800,000
Or, do Tanimura's substory #2 - A Dangerous Game for ¥3 million and just use two Zero Jewels for ¥7.2 million more.
