How to unlock the Benevolent Dragon achievement in Yakuza 5 Remastered - Definitive Guide

So you might be thinking, "How in the world am I going to get 5 million yen?"

An easy way is to use a Zero Jewel at the Roulette table. By placing a 1,000 bet on 0 or 00, you will have a 50% chance of winning 36,000, which you can then cash in for a very large number of Platinum Plates, good for about 3.5 million. There are three Zero Jewels available in a regular Yakuza 5 playthrough -- locker J5 in Kamurocho, locker J4 in Sotenbori, and the "A Stubborn Old Man" Akiyama substory.

Alternatively, you will receive 5 million yen outright when you complete a Legend Mode playthrough.

Regardless of how you get the money, you can cheese this by saving your game, going to an ATM and depositing the money, then re-loading your Clear Save immediately afterwards.

(Note also that you will need 5 million yen on hand to complete the "A Toast Together" trophy. You don't actually spend the money.)

You can also sell all your gear and items to the pawn shop if you’re short and just don’t save between then and getting the trophy.

While not the best choice in real life, gambling is how we're gonna rack in the big bucks. Firstly, you'll want a Zero Jewel which you can get from locker J5 in Kamurocho or J4 in Sotenbori. You can also get one from Kamurocho Enjoyment Pack 06 which you can grab from under the prize section at a convenience store. Once you have your Zero Jewel, you’ll want to save and head to Ryugujo (Dragon Palace) or Purgatory in Kamurocho to play some Roulette. Use the Zero jewel which makes the ball always land on 0 or 00 and bet the max on either one. If the ball doesn’t land on the one you picked, reload and try again. You’ll have enough points to buy around 3.6 million yen worth of platinum plates per successful attempt

Another method that I like is the Baccarat method. You will need a million yen to pull this off but it's a worthwhile investment. Firstly, save your game, then head to Ryugujo (Dragon Palace) or Purgatory once more. Buy 10,000 chips for a million yen then go to the Baccarat table. Bet all of your chips on a TIE 8 to 1 and reload your save until you're successful. After doing this you’ll have enough chips to buy 60 platinum plates worth a total of 9 million yen.

Now that you're loaded with cash, you’ll be ready to send that 5 million through the ATM. But like any financially responsible person, we're gonna cheese this. Save your game, invest the cash, then reload. Now you get the achievement and get to keep the cash.

Not as difficult as it seems. This is easier to do in Kamurocho. There are two casinos here. Let's go to what's underground. There we save (either in the tournament hall or on the bridge) and go spend money in the casino. The easiest way to get rich is to play roulette with Zero Jewel. You need to have 100k money with you (exchange it for chips) and put all this stuff on 0 or 00. And then use Zero Jewel. There is a chance that the result will not be what you chose (0 instead of 00 or vice versa). In this case, simply exit the game and go play again. For winning they will give 3.6kk money. The rest I won in various casino games. The most profitable bet is baccarat. We bet the maximum on the player. Let's play. If they won, they escaped and survived. Lost - left the game - loaded the save. In an hour of playing, I collected 14KK, some of which I sent to the shelter and received a trophy.

In any case, you will need about 10 million to buy everything from Kamiyama. Save, send money to the orphanage and load and the trophy will drop without losing any money.
If everything has been vacuumed, then you should have 3 cheat items “Zero Jewel” for roulette; for the points you earn, we buy platinum plates and sell them in Pawn. More than enough.
