• Does difficulty level affect trophies? : yes, you need to beat the game on “NORMAL” and only on it. If you beat the game on a higher difficulty level, you will not receive any trophies.

My parting words: platinum is not difficult, it is interesting. There is not much hardcore, but there are some moments. If you are playing this series for the first time, then I highly recommend, I highly recommend watching a short video retelling of the plot of the first three parts on YouTube (or better yet, watch the full video retelling of the plot, or even better, go through it yourself, if you have the opportunity), go through the fourth part (a short video retelling no for her, unfortunately). I advise you this only because, starting with this part, you will understand little about the plot, even at the beginning of the game you will already have a lot of questions. Don’t be lazy, at least watching a short video retelling of the plot of the first three parts will only take an evening, and going through the plot of part 4 (only that) will take two or three evenings.

My advice to you:
1) My most important advice to you is don’t follow the plot. "Ryu ga Gotoku" is not a series of games where you have to run headlong through the plot. Explore the world, relax, enjoy everything the game provides. You can start the story at any time, don’t worry
2) Complete all Side stories and Substories for all characters. It will help you a lot if you do this before the end of the game and not after. There are several Substories (this does not apply to Side stories) that have two endings: canonical (where everything is done as it should, and in Substories it is written opposite the quest "Completed") and non-canonical (where something is done wrong, and opposite the quest it says something like "In progress"). Although this does not affect 100%, you may not receive some items if you get a non-canonical ending. Therefore, I highly recommend that you save often and in different slots each time (from the first slot to the last and again according to the same scheme), when possible, and load if the quest does not work out. And yes, some quests only open at the end of the game. Therefore, if you have completed all the active quests on the map, and the statistics say that two more have not been completed, do not worry, they will open when you reach the last chapter. And also, after completing all the Side stories for Haruka, walk near her agency - there will be something interesting
3) “Walk around women” often and whenever there is an opportunity (besides Haruka, of course). Whether during the day or at night, the hostesses are always waiting for you. It will be much better if you combine trips to them with the main walkthrough, rather than going to them non-stop at the end of a chapter or game. We completed the story - went to the hostesses, completed a couple of Side stories and Substories - to the hostesses. And yes, in order to have the opportunity to meet hostesses, unlike the previous parts, you first need to go to some kind of agency (a small establishment on the map), and there they will take you where you need to go. You only need to do this once, after which you don’t need to anymore. And yes, remember, in order to accurately complete the “quest” with the hostess, you need to come to her after receiving the S rank. This is the only way it will count.
4) At the beginning of the game you will meet a famous Japanese chef - don't forget about him. Find him 3 establishments where local cuisine is prepared (the character will say something when you find the right establishment), and go there with him. This will make the game easier for you - one, it will give you a new HP bar - two, it will allow you to improve some character parameters with the help of certain food - three. And this will motivate you to eat food - it will bring you closer to 100% (for them you will need to eat all the food once). So it’s better to always heal yourself with food in cafes and restaurants and replenish your second HP bar and abilities. And when you complete your last training session with Komaki’s grandson, then go to him so that you can then go to Komaki himself and get the opportunity to “complete upgrade”.
5) Don't be afraid to end a chapter unexpectedly. You will always be advised to finish your unfinished business, if any, at the end of the chapter. But there is no need to wait for this point of no return, because, as I said, it is better to combine doing Side stories, Substories, going to the hostesses
6) Don't take the keys from Haruka This is very important. If you want to get 100% in this walkthrough, then don't collect keys for it. And if you want later in PREMIUM MODE - you are always welcome. Further, for those who want to see the beauty after the credits - even though it’s lying there under your feet - don’t take it. It is possible and recommended for other characters, especially since the missing keys can be tracked through statistics and collected using the guide.
7) Never throw anything out of your inventory or sell anything, even junk. One "trinket" that costs 50 yen can cost you 0.8% to 100%, since it is needed to create items. Some items are unique and are given only once per playthrough. Be very careful with this, only sell Plate (metal to platinum) if you need the money.
8) Fishing when you can (you can buy bait in stores) is a good way to relax and earn money. And you don't have to keep the bait - it's enough for you to buy it and put it in your inventory. So it’s better to shop, and then go fishing. And a small note: some types of fish appear only at certain times of the day. But don’t worry too much about it, you can always “fish” at the end of the game (which I recommend) and after.
9) From time to time, sit down for mini-games, do not deprive them of attention
10) If you want to be sure that you won’t ruin your way to 100%, then just remember what I’m going to write: don’t delete anything from your inventory, don’t sell “junk,” and go all the way to the Princess League. And if you want to be sure that you can get 100% in this playthrough, then do not take any keys for Haruka yet, make a save in the last chapter when you play as her and before the ending. The point where you play as Haruka at the end is an unspoken feature where you have a good chance of getting 100%. Afterwards you can too, but that’s if you’ve completed everything as Haruka (you just won’t be able to play as her at the very end). You will understand where the point of no return will be at the end, don't worry.
11) Combine the plot with everything I wrote above, and with everything I didn’t write about. So you will get even more pleasure from part 5, I guarantee you. And I will say again that it is better to get 100% in this playthrough, and not after. Although the most important thing is to get the Golden Pistol for defeating the traditional boss Amon, and the other bonus items are not so important. But if you are so interested... What am I saying, of course it will be interesting to watch the ending of the game, I know from myself. Therefore, I recommend that you first see the ending of the game, and then load that save when you play as Haruka for the last time, start your path to obtaining and get 100%, and go through the game again. A very good option, and also a beautiful one - after completing it you will see the coveted 100% and a trophy. But if you are not a fetishist like me, then unless you screwed up your way to 100%, they can be obtained in PREMIUM MODE.
