For this you will need to beat all difficulty levels in the first minigame you get access to, the can course.

As far i have discovered there is no need to obtain the maximum rank (S) as i received this with 3x A ranks at each difficulty.

This mini-game is introduced as part of the story very early on and can be completed right away. It basically mimics a game of pac-man where you'll ride around on a bike collecting cans, avoiding other characters who can knock you out and steal your cans. You can speed boost into them and steal their cans though! There are a total of three courses to complete, each requiring a larger number of cans. You don't have to go over that total to get credit toward this achievement, but larger totals will reward more points to use in the Can Collector's shop.

You are introduced to Can Quest in chapter 3. Can Quest just involves you riding a bicycle around and collecting cans. As you do this other people will appear to ram you for cans or steal cans off the street. There are also garbage trucks that make you lose a lot of cans if you hit them, Tauriner drinks which allow you to boost and ram opponents to steal their cans, and a can girl who runs around dropping cans in piles of 3. By collecting a certain number of cans, you earn a rank which will then earn you an amount of points. You must collect the minimum amount of cans to complete the course. There are a total of 3 courses: Beginner, Normal and Hard. To earn this trophy you only have to beat each course with the minimum amount of cans. It is not required that you earn an S-Rank.

There are only 3 routes. The first one opens as part of the plot narrative. Each subsequent one opens after completing the previous one. Moreover, you don’t have to do well; any grade other than D (failure of the assignment) is enough. The trophy can be made at the very beginning of the game without any special skills. Just collect the required number of cans in the allotted time. Very simple!
