The battle has 3 phases. Begin by aiming for the craters with the opposing weapon, while trying to avoid its attacks. If it shoots ice, use flamethrower. If it shoots fire, use snowballs. If it shoots rocks, use grenade launcher. Once all are gone, a barrage of meteors come down, just drive in circles while boosting to avoid damage. The next phase is similar to the first, except with meteor attacks as well. The last phase is the easiest, just shoot whatever you want at her face! If you time it right, she won't even be able to counterattack! I preferred the grenade launcher due to the rate of fire and attack distance.

In order to confront the World 5 boss, Planette, you need to unlock this world's transformation first. After finding the Mollycool, talk to Dr. Puzz and transform. Now locate a small comet near Spacecog Station and shoot him in the back. This will start the boss fight.
During the fight, you will have to make use of the three weapons that your transformation is equipped with: Ice Blasts (
), Explosive (
) and the Flamethrower(
), depending on which side of Planette you're facing. Utilize the right weapon against the glowing craters on her surface, and try to dodge the projectiles and breath attacks she sends after you. As soon as you destroy all craters on one of her surfaces, she will switch to another one. After going through all 3 surfaces, you will have to dodge her comet attacks from above. Simply drive around until she's done, and the fight will continue as above. Only that this time, she will send out one of her comets every now and then.
