While this achievement isn't that challenging to gain by yourself, there's an easier method if you're having any trouble. Play the survival level as normal and kill the zombies until the boss blowing gas circles spawns. Then clear the screen of all the common zombies. Once it's just down to just the boss zombie, run circles around the pile of vending machines on the ground on the left side of the map for the remaining time until you hit the 10 minute mark. The achievement will pop in game and you can end the game afterwards. Hope this helps.

Or just idle with rubber band between the truck and the top turret to the right of the map. And use teddy bears when there is a big guy and there special. I got 15 minutes by idling when going for the 10k kills.

Pure pwnage is a new mode that is also found in the main menu which is separated from prequel: day 56.
Pure pwnage is a survival mode where you will face all the types of zombies from the original game by using 2 characters only.
Surviving 10 minutes is not hard. Just focus on scouting around and pick up the mash-up weapons scattered around the area and you will be fine. Both characters have the same weapons and abilities, so you don't need to swap between characters in order to survive unless one of them is in the pinch.
