How to unlock the Get Rich Quick achievement in Zuma - Definitive Guide

There's actually a pretty easy way to get this trophy. Go to Gauntlet pick survival mode, pick the "Spiral of Doom" level and then make sure to select "Rabbit" for rank. It will default to Rabbit if you haven't played this level in Gauntlet and survival yet, but if you have then just scroll down. Alternatively if you haven't earned the trophy for getting Son of Son rank in all levels of gauntlet, that's a good time to work on this one as long as you do a bunch of levels at once. The overall key is to get 100 coins in one play session, so don't quit the game until the trophy unlocks.

Then play the level until you get to Eagle 1 or have a hard time getting more coins up to you there since it's possible to keep a good coin earning streak going for longer. Fail the level then. If the trophy hasn't unlocked yet, then keep going until it does. This is the key part. If you quit the game, the trophy progress appears to be reset to 0. Only adventure mode saves the total coins earned and it's harder to get 100 coins in a full run of adventure (and more time consuming too). Using this method you should average about 10-15 coins per run and it takes only a few minutes to get to a point where your coin earning streak ends and you should fail the level.

Overall, set aside about a half an hour to an hour aside to ensure you can do this in one play session and you should be able to have it easily enough just replaying that level over and over again. This can also be combined with trying to get gap shots for Win One for the Gapper.

Gold coins will appear at fixed intervals and locations across most of the maps in both Adventure and Gauntlet mode. You will most likely have to clear some balls to be able to grab them so make sure you are quick when they appear. Please note that coins are cumulative and can be obtained over the course of multiple playthroughs.

* Glitch Note: This trophy is glitched and may unlock before or after you reach the 100 coin mark.

the previous hint is not correct (more precisely, it is correct for the XBOX360 version of the game, on PS3 the conditions are different)

The trophy IS cumulative and the easiest way to get it is as follows:

1) We load level 1-1 and do not win it, doing only collecting coins. Your goal is to collect as many coins as possible and complete the level.

2) After the Game Over sign appears, everything you collected is credited to you.

3) Load level 1-1 and repeat from step one until the trophy opens.

You may need to collect up to 120 coins - the trophy is a bit glitchy

The trophy is cumulative until you leave the game. When you exit the game, the coins are reset to zero, and you will have to collect them again. This is the bug. It is best to farm in Gauntlet at 1-1; in one successful run you can knock out about a dozen coins.

This is not a cumulative trophy, you need to get one hundred coins in a single playthrough of the game. Collect only coins, try to ignore all other bonuses if possible.
