Jobs are the mini tasks you do at buildings. You will do a lot of these when trying to complete tasks, but you can click on any building at any time to do a job. This come naturally while playing through and cost various amounts of energy. If you want to get this done more quickly, you can use the time glitch found in the roadmap.
