How to unlock the Spring Cleaning achievement in 2020: My Country - Definitive Guide

All over the map are rocks, bushes, trees, and other items that can block your building progress. You can remove these with energy, most needing 2 energy to remove, and some needing 5, 10 or more (usually task based). If you have a built up area, it may be hard to see items, but if you click on the cog icon to go into settings, and then click the house icon, you will see the map in a coloured grid. The grey bits are items that can be removed.

The problem with this achievement is that depending on your map (they are randomly generated), there may not be 1000 items in total to move. The game will sometimes generate new items, such as snowdrifts, but this can take a long time to happen (only happened around 5 times in 35 hours in my experience. The other thing is that you potentially would have to wait until you have unlocked all of the areas to get this which would take a huge amount of time and/or effort to do.

Fortunately, there is a way around this. This is pretty cheap, and relies on the fact the game updates the cloud from your local save game every time you reinstall the game. This only works on Windows 10, not on mobile devices. Make sure you have a bunch of removable objects, then follow the steps below:

1 - Load up the game, then once your city is loaded, exit the game.
2 - Turn on airplane mode on your system
3 - Clear out any and all objects you can - use the time glitch found in the roadmap if you need more energy
4 - Exit the game, then uninstall it
5 - Turn off airplane mode
6 - Go to the Store, then reinstall the game
7 - Repeat until you have 1000 removals
