Score a goal using a trick move

How to unlock the Trickster achievement in 3 on 3 NHL Arcade - Definitive Guide

You must net a goal using a Trick Move. To do a Trick Move simply press cn_Y. Its just liking shooting the puck, but its slower and more difficult to make the shot.

Much easier to do if you have 2 controllers, as you wont have to worry about your opponent attacking you, while trying to do this.

Best to go for this when combined with power ups, especially Laser Shot and the "small goalie"

Not hard at all, but may take a few tries.

As crimson said, easier done with Laser shot and the mini goalie. Also if you feel like playing online with a friend to stop defenders this should be easy. The trick shot is slow but if you skate around the back of the net and time it well without the power ups you have a fair shot of making it as well. This can be tricky, but is by no means impossible.

Trickster
20G - Score a goal using a trick move.

Start up a game with a 2nd controller on the opposite side so that you won't get attacked much and with power-ups on to make it even easier. Now once the match starts, get the puck, pick up a power-up (try to get mini goalie, laser shot or the freeze ability), and once you get close to the oppositions goalie, hit cn_Y to perform a trick shot and hopefully score.

The most success that I've had has been to hit cn_Y early while skating towards the net, so that the trickshot animation can begin and the shot happens just as your in front of the goalie. That way, you don't over skate the net and miss the shot.

To use Trick Moves, just press near the opposing teams net. This make take time to actually get a goal while doing a trick move, but using the powerups to your advantage will help tremendously.

Just like it says, score a goal with a trick move. To do a trick move press and depending where you are on the ice will determine what trick move you do. The trick moves are putting the puck on your stick and scoring from behind the net, throwing the puck into the air and hitting it out of the air with your stick and spinning shots where you drag your toe and shoot the puck. The easiest by far is the one where you shoot from behind the net. When your behind or on the side of the net push the button and he will put it in the net most of the time. Alternatively if you have someone else on your team you can make them check the goalie and knock him down so you can take the wide open shot. If you do it by yourself though trick shots take some luck and you most likely won't get them on your first try.
