You have to answer 1,000 questions correctly over all your games.
If you don't have a turbo controller, this is going to take a long time.
If you have a controller with a turbo option you can get this very easy. Setup a Battle of the Wits Match on easy vs the CPU. Set the Controller to Turbo the A button and put a piece of tape on the A button. Now go to sleep, work, etc.
This will take a while, but it will also help in knocking out the following achievements: Extra-sharp Pencil, Porcelain Lab Rat, Walking Encyclopedia, Crystal Sundial, Clean Sweeper and Graduation Cap.
