How to unlock the Man's best comrade achievement in 60 Parsecs! - Definitive Guide
My completion of the DLC was greatly aided by this Steam guide written by LinkkuLegend

There are 4 endings for Commissar Laïka. They are comprised of succeeding or failing (usually intentionally) to help Laïka with the endings occurring at the onset of the heist. The heist event happens after a series of random events with the appearance of other dogs and demands from Laïka.
My expansion to the Steam guide in particular is not taking any other crewmates with you and only having your captain. I suggest Emmet or Bronco all the time for all of the DLC since they specialize in the intelligence and strength stat respectively but fall short in the other. This helps when you want to succeed or fail on certain events. This is not particularly important with Laïka but since the dlc chain you get in a play-through is random, it’s good to be prepared for any of the possible endings.
Follow the steam guide for the specific events. The guide includes a reference to the text on the event screen followed by the suggestion of what action you should take for that event.
Laïka’s endings are dependent on helping successfully or failing to help and then choosing to join or not join the heist.

Number of endings: 4 + 1 – Pick up unfamiliar travel companions to start this event
Ending 1: Joined a space criminal dog gang
Throw me a bone, okay? — Shovel or Battery (you will lose it) If you choose Nothing, Laika will no longer contact you
Now 3 (or 4?) different events will appear in random order, if you do not help them 2 times in a row, then Laika will no longer contact you
Event 1: Are you going to pick them up or not? - Yes
Event 1: Of course you could resist her. If you dare - No
Event 1: Probably now or never - No
Event 2: Does she really board the ship? - Yes
Event 2: I'm giving you a best friend discount since we're so close. Interested? - Soup (you will lose it)
Event 3: Will you let Laika's comrades on board? - Yes
Event 3: Surely you have universal medical care on this ship? — Shovel
Event 4: Then you want to give us a paw? - Yes
Event 5: So... any ideas, comrade? - Artifact (you will lose it) (not sure what will happen if you give 30 minerals)
Event 6: Can you do it for the galaxy? And one more thing, for me. Thanks - Intelligence (not sure what will happen if Strength is chosen)
Event 7: Ready for a Tomb Raid? — Shovel
Event 8: There is a package that needs to be delivered. Simple, right? — Dexterity
Event 9: Maybe we'll let you try this, huh? - Ribbon
Event 10: It's not even locked, you just need to open the lid - Strength
Event 11: Quickly and quietly before the patrol robots are alerted. Yes? — Dexterity
We are leaving this galaxy. Want to go with me? What do you say? - Yes
Join us if you wish, and bring your fellow human. And some of that delicious soup, right? We don't have much time - Soup
If you can handle it, it might just fly under the radar. Figuratively. - Higher (if you fail here there will be another check, if you fail you will get Ending 2)
You can't be in two places at once! Isn't that what the crew is for? - Crew Member (both seem to work, not sure if you can fail)
The space engine is jammed! What should we do? - Choose someone who is more likely to succeed and hope for the best.
Ending 2: You and your crew are left stranded on a tiny, abandoned space rock.
Follow Ending 1 until the next event:
We are leaving this galaxy. Want to go with me? What do you say? - No
Ending 3: You are taken hostage aboard their own ship.
Throw me a bone, okay? - Shovel or Battery (you will lose it)
