After I get Pancake, I stop getting a chance to trade for Sharikov. I even had few game with Pancake that were over 100 days but couldn't get the cat

That's weird I had the option happen a lot. Make sure to explore a ton and sometimes the cat will come and scratch at the door so there is that way but its insanely rare.
One thing that could of happened is that with the new update it could of "glitched" the achievement so you may need to wait for an update from the developers. Water and Soup were both "glitched" as well and was fixed by the update.
