How to unlock the Thomas Edison achievement in 7 Days to Die - Definitive Guide

To pass the time during the nights, accomplish skill training, and work towards this achievement at the same time, I have been making plant fibre hats and then scrapping them once the inventory is full. It has the following benefits:

1) It boosts your Tailoring skill, allowing you to make better quality items over time. As well, the damage resistance and environmental resistance of the items you make gradually improve. So if you end up in a tight spot and the only resource you have is plant fibre or cloth, you'll be glad you did this.
2) As you boost your Tailoring skill, you make progress toward increasing your level, which gives you skill points that you can use to buy useful things such as leatherworking, steelsmithing, and so on. As well, you can repair cloth things with less loss of quality.
3) Each item you scrap also counts towards items crafted. So when I make 24 hats and scrap them, that counts as 48 towards the achievement.
4) Plant fibre is a cheap and abundant resource. Even better, when you scrap the hat, you receive back 3 plant fibres, and it only costs 5 to make in the first place. You can squeeze maximum use out of them and preserve your wood and stone for more useful things.

From my experience, it doesn’t actively track. It just moves when you unlock the previous achievement in the grind. For this one I duped close to 5000 yucca fruits because crafting yucca seeds takes less than a second and it goes as fast as I’ve seen

I made 5,000 wood frames so far, but only the 50, 500, and 1500 ones unlocked. This one's the only one that's not tracking either

That's odd. I did this way back in the early days of the game (at that time, you couldn't adjust the brightness level so it was pitch black at night). Maybe some of their updates since then made it buggy for some people. Keep playing the game, focus on some other things, and I hope it eventually pops for you. Good luck.

Damn...that's the first time I've heard of that happening. Did you try switching game modes or using a new character? Also, if you get a chance, try to make crushed sand like the other guide suggests. You'll need machinery, but I can't remember what kind at the moment as I haven't played in a long time. Anyways, try getting the other achievements first and keep an eye on this one; perhaps it might be a temporary glitch.

All craft item achievements:

Wood. Lots and lots of wood!

Cut down trees and keep crafting Wood spikes that cost 4 wood, if you find a grassland area that has tons of trees throw down a bedroll to spawn on if you die.

This doesn't take long at all.

Hello Ladies and Gents!, this will come naturally but there is something very important to take into consideration!

I noticed when making Crushed Sand that it only counted towards my total crafted score if I was in the Cement Mixer inventory while it was being made if I left the menu any created items would not count towards the achievement until i went back into the Crafting Menu!.

I found a fast way to get this Achievement is being able to craft Crushed Sand, you can create 2-5 every second depending on you crafting skill and lvl and it only takes 1 Stone per 1 Sand, I could easily make 1000 Crushed Sand every 2 minutes (not including Gathering the Stone... I Hope this helps you get this Achievement Faster!

this only count towards one skill though.
if you create stone axes fx it counts towards tool crafting which is a very important skill. if you craft spikes it counts towards misc. and so on. it might not be smart just to focus on one thing, when you can craft all kinds of things while you do other things.

A craft achievement, it is easy but takes time. The previous craft achievements you get will count for this one aswell. Simply, keep crafting whatever you want. The fastest way possible to do this (in my opinion) is by collecting iron. This can be done by harvesting iron ore from the ground out in nature or harvesting it from metal structures, from lonely buildings to cities and villages, which is plentiful in this game. Once harvested, you can now craft "Robotic Turret Ammo", which costs 3 iron pieces each. The time to craft these each is only 1 second. Getting alot of iron is easy too. So hoard up on iron, find a place that is safe and start crafting. You can even go around doing other things while you craft the ammo, its entirely up to you. Once you've crafted all the ammo, now you can press on it in your inventory and press "S" for scrap. You will now scrap the ammo (Which will take a certain amount of time, depending on how much you've crafted) and get back almost all of the iron, which you can now use again to craft more ammo. Eventually you'll lose all the iron you scavenged and will have to find more, but it's extremely easy to find more. On the sideline, you can mass craft things out of stones, wood and grass which is everywhere too. You can track how much you have crafted by opening the "Character" menu and look under "Core Character Stats" which will show information on the left side of your screen, which is the same place you keep check on your food/water. The craft achievements can be done on private servers with disabled spawning for zombies and on easiest difficulty, though don't put your guard down. You will still need to find food/water and fight off few animals, like wolves.

This achievement is pretty straightforward and you will likely unlock it naturally by just playing through the game, especially if you’re the type of person who really likes to go all out when it comes to building bases and fortresses. Alternatively, you can craft Gun Powder, which requires only 1 coal and 1 nitrate powder, both of which you will find in abundance, should you decide to go mining underground.

Crafting in 7 Days To Day is essential to your survival and you'll be doing a lot of it as you play naturally. Everything you craft counts towards this trophy even across multiple saves. So, you can craft 1000 items on an MP server and the other 4000 in a single player game and still get the trophy. It's also important to know how to mass craft items and not just individually crafting each item to save a lot of time.

Mass Crafting:

Mass Crafting will allow you to create multiple items at once instead of individually crafting each one. It"ll only take 30 minutes to an hour to craft all 5000 items if you follow this method:-

Make sure you have your world set to the NavezGane map so you will have access to the Farm and Corn Field. The coordinates are below if you are having trouble locating it. Once you're here you want to start picking up corn from the giant field that is here and gather around 5000 pieces. There is more than enough corn here and it will take less than 10 minutes to get it all. Holding down the button while walking down a row of corn is the fastest way to harvest it all.

Once you have enough corn open your inventory by pressing the and navigating to the crafting menu marked with the "hammer" icon in the upper left hand corner. Once here find the "Resources" tab where you will see "Cornmeal". This will take one piece of corn to craft one piece of cornmeal. So, if you gathered enough you can select the second arrow pointing to the right under the cornmeal and this will craft a stack of 500 at a time if you have the required material. Craft 6 stacks of the 500 and you'll be awarded all four of the trophies. Refer to the image below if you're confused.

You can get started by making wood frame. 1000 wood - 200 items. Plus they are conveniently stacked in packs of 500 pieces. The wooden frames can then be put into a fire or oven as fuel.
