To place a bedroll you will need to make a bedroll, first collect 20 plant fibers (hit RT on grass until you have 20). Then open up your menu and go to the crafting Area using RB and LB to navigate. Then use RT and LT to get to the little house icon. Bedroll will be on top if you have the fibers in your possession. Craft it by hitting
and 
on the D-pad and it will craft.Once you have it crafted you can equip it by hitting
on it in your inventory and up on the d-pad. Hop out of the menu and hit LT where you want to place it and the achievement will be yours.
RaptureFallen
This achievement will also be one of the first achievements you’re likely to unlock. For this achievement you will have to either craft or find a bedroll, or craft an old bed or king sized bed. The easiest one to do would be to craft the bedroll. To do so, gather 20 plant fibers by pressing 
while looking at some tall grass. After you have 20, open your crafting menu by tapping 
, click on the first tab that has the icon of a campfire, select Bedroll, and then press 
to start crafting.
Once you have crafted the bedroll, either drag it to your hotbar at the bottom of the screen or click in on the 
to quickmove it to your hotbar. After it's on your hotbar, equip it in your hand and place it on the ground with 
. The achievement should unlock after you have placed the item.

Crafting a bedroll is part of Noah's tutorial when you first spawn in a world. In order to craft one you first need to go around punching grass until you have 20+ plant fibers in your inventory. Once you do, open the crafting menu by pressing the 
and navigating to the "hammer" icon in the upper left corner. Bedrolls will be under the basic's tab and you can craft it by selecting it and pressing 
on the direction pad. It'll then be placed in your inventory after three seconds. Place the bedroll anywhere on the ground, preferably in a shelter, and you'll be awarded the trophy.
