99Vidas (UP)

This boss has a bunch of health, but isn't too bad once you learn his patterns.

The boss really only has three different attacks: Paper, Rock and Scissors (hopefully you understand the concept and recognize the hand gestures).

PAPER: This attack is deadly if you don't react quickly enough. After flashing the 'Paper' sign, the boss will start charging for a magic attack. This attack, if used, will automatically kill your character. To prevent the attack, spam combos on one of the boss' hands. Once you deal enough damage, the boss will instead smash his fist to the ground. Be sure to jump in time, or the shockwave will damage you.

ROCK: This attack isn't too bad, but requires some timing on your part. Following the 'Rock' sign, the boss will smash both arms onto the ground. You must time your jump to avoid getting hit by either the arms or the shockwave. You will have a few seconds to deal damage to his arms following the attack.

SCISSORS: I find this attack to be the biggest pain. After flashing the 'Scissor' sign, the boss will spawn a colored hand (different colors have different elemental attacks) that will attack you. You must defeat this enemy for it to leave the screen. This is particularly hazardous if the boss flashes the 'Paper' sign and you to engaged with the enemy to prevent the boss' magic attack.

All in all, not too bad. Just be patient and get some hits in while you can. If you are about to die, use your magic attack. You will get half your meter filled if you die, so don't let it go to waste.
