This is a simple achievement that can be done with 1 person if you have 2 controllers. Just press start and hit "CO-OP" at the bottom of your screen. (THESE MUST BE NEW TIME PIECES, CANNOT COLLECT ONES YOU ALREADY HAVE ON A SAVE FILE.)
Method 1: Play on a save file you still need time pieces on and just play the game normally with your other controller just afk. Collecting 3 Time Pieces will grant you the achievement.
Method 2: Start on a new save file and quickly run through the first 3 chapters of Mafia Town while in CO-OP. (NOTE: CHAPTER 2 WAS BUGGED FOR ME AND THE WORLD DID NOT LOAD WHEN PRESSING CHAPTER 2 IN CO-OP. LOAD UP CHAPTER SOLO THEN GO INTO CO-OP)
This can only be done via couch CO-OP. Not online.

A really easy way to do this is just play the game normally in single player mode and then right before you are about to collect a time piece (obviously it has to be a piece you have not already collected) turn on co-op mode and then collect the time piece that’s all you have to do and then you can turn co op mode off and then repeat the steps until you have the achievement. You don’t even have to play at all as the second player you can still collect the time pieces using player ones controller just as long as the pieces are collected with co-op mode on.
