This will be earned in Act 2.
As you progress through this Act, you'll eventually find yourself back at the Hotel where a rather heated argument will take place between Ludovica and Heinrich. As they're bickering back and forth, you'll have an opportunity to investigate Gorini's room upstairs. First, interact with the Hotel Register on the counter to find which room Gorini is in, then interact with the Pigeon Holes on the back wall to grab the spare key to the room. Head upstairs and go through the door on the left (Room 8). There is a light switch you can turn on right as you enter the room and there will also be a lamp you can turn on not too far in. Once you can sort of see where you're going, interact with the desk in the room.
