On my YouTube channel I've created a gameplay walkthrough video covering Chapter 13 of this game.
The first half of this chapter sees you attempting to get back outside by solving puzzles. It's not long before these puzzles include navigating rat-filled areas. If you've played this far there's not much you haven't seen. The only new addition are fumes that will put out your torch if you go into them. Do this and you're rat food.
The second half of the level is more sneaking through groups of soldiers. As this is later in the game the groups tend to be more heavily armored than the past. Take your time and you'll get through this fine. By now you have all the tools to take these out. This soldier-filled section culminates in a battle against waves of soldiers. I found this to be a bit challenging. My advice here is to not panic. If you watch my video you'll see me struggle to select the right equipment for each enemy and make some mistakes. Even if it takes you a few tries you should be able to do this. Just keep calm and push through.
