A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead

Number one thing I'd recommend is playing on a normal playthrough so that you could get a feel for it but if you want to just jump straight into hard difficulty I'll still say; this is not that hard. It's actually quite easy albeit sometimes frustrating. Playing a normal playthrough first though is what made it so for me.

3 major things to note: While you do have to be quiet, you generally get 2 warnings before you're done for good. The first time will display a closed monster face and the 2nd one will display an open one.(once the open face happens, just don't move for a few seconds and it'll fade away). Also you don't really have to crouch. Majority of the game can be spent walking to help speed things up, with just a few things like puddles or piles of leaves needing to be more slow and crouched. Another thing; check the settings to see somethings you can make slightly easier for you. You can adjust the sensitivity slider which will make opening cabinets and doors much easier. Also turning on monster outline can be helpful too to keep track of the beast.

Another major note. If you see that you're stamina is in the red, if you hit a checkpoint just get yourself killed and it will be refilled all the way.
