How to unlock the Every animal in town talk about you! achievement in A Space for the Unbound - Definitive Guide

There is a comprehensive guide on this at Neoseeker that I'm not gonna steal and repost here.
What you need to know is that this achievement is very much missable. You have to pet 25 animals during the first three chapters. There is no progress tracker, and some of these animals are missable as well.
The actual achievement is unlocked near the end of Chapter 4. After beating some thugs with Sensei, a path to the garbage area (where Admiral's house is located) will be unlocked.
Go there to find and rescue the white buffalo. If you successfully pet all 25 animals, the buffalo will allow you to pet itself as well.
It will then step aside and reveal a mask. Spacedive into mask, complete it, and the cheevo will pop after the cutscene.

Chapter 1
- Stray Cat: Loka High - Front Gate
- Stray Cat: Loka High - Behind Cafeteria
- Stray Cat: In front of Loka High
- Stray Cat: General Store street, after Erik appears. On a box outside store. Will move to the Garbage area during Chapter 3
- Stray Cat: General Store street, after Erik appears. On a bench next to the food cart. Will move to the Garbage area during Chapter 3
- Stray Cat: General Store street, after Erik appears. Base of the statue.Will move to the Garbage area during Chapter 3
- Admiral: After rescuing Admiral from the tree at the Swamp for the first time. This happens automatically.
- Dog: Garbage Area, after rescuing Admiral at the Swamp; this Dog also appears later in front of Loka High during Chapter 3
Chapter 2
- Stray Cat: Along Community Center street (the street with the mosque, temple, church etc.)
- Admiral's Underling: Community Center street after Admiral summons them for the first time. Will disappear after completing the Pastry Chef's spacedive
- Admiral's Underling: Swamp after Admiral summons them for the first time. Will disappear after completing the Pastry Chef's spacedive
- Admiral's Underling: Internet Cafe street after Admiral summons them for the first time. Will disappear after completing the Pastry Chef's spacedive
- Admiral's Underling: In front of General Store after Admiral summons them for the first timeWill disappear after completing the Pastry Chef's spacedive
- Rat: Inside General Store. Won't be available after Chapter 2.
- Rooster: Far left of Swamp after uniting the Rooster with the Hen at the Community Center street. Won't be available after Chapter 2.
- Hen: Swamp after uniting the Rooster with the Hen at the Community Center street. Won't be available after Chapter 2.
Chapter 3
- Stray Cat: Outside Cinema
- Stray Cat: Internet Cafe street by phone box; need Catnip from girl near garbage pile to pet this cat.
- Swan: Far right side of Garbage Area
- Egg Vendor's Duck: Along Community Center street after chasing the duck back into the alleyway
- Stray Cat: Along North Neighborhood street after getting the missing dog to leave the area using the Dog Chew Toy. Get it off his owner first (left of the school).
- Stray Cat: River Bank
- Stray Cat: River Bank
- Stray Cat: River Bank
Chapter 4
- Kebo Bule: Swamp
- Barong: Spacedive into the Barong Puppet Mask once you've petted Kebo Bule
