Go to the end of the map and build the larges station possible three or four squares from the edge. Then conect the station to the end with rails. Now it is time for the trains. Make 2 goodstrains and 3 passengertrains. Every time the train unload at your station the will be full of people/goods.
Now start building propertys around the station. You can only build 7-8 squares away from the station so build it tight. When you have filled the area around the station with stores just sit back and wait.
