(You get this achievement from using a Keypad Hacker for the first time)
The Keypad Hacker is unlocked by making all the ingredients (Controller, LCD Screen, and Infrared Emitter) to unlock the recipe, or by speaking to Dr. Alice Mayfield (She's on Level 3, in the control room near Silo 3).
To make the Controller, LCD Screen, and Infrared Emitter, you will need a total of:
3- Security Bot CPUs (Hardest item to require, you need to kill 3 Security Bots that patrol at night. Main component for Computation Brick)
4- Circuit Boards (Smashing computers)
2- Keyboards (Usually in front of computers)
2- Desk Phones (On desks)
2- Boxes of Screws (Found on the second floor, you can also make them once you find a box)
1- Glowstick (You can make with a common Test Tube and 1 Bio Scrap)
2- Glass Scraps (Smash windows)
4- Tech Scraps (Smash computers)
1- Case Fan (Smash computers)
*Really, the only thing that will give you problems is the Security Bots; a good spot to kill them is by using a spear or long weapon while on the very top of the fountain in the Main Plaza area to kill the one that patrols at night.
