Some people are getting this without every slot filled and mine didn’t visually pop on the screen but still unlocked.
The only items I had to craft and didn’t get from regular gameplay were:
Two trinkets: Early on I made the “Carbuncle Balloon” and I traded with the guy in the opening central area for an “Employee Locator”.
Headgear: I made the “Makeshift Headlamp”. For it you can trade the Blacksmith for an optic lens and the cracked shoulder lights can be found after killing human enemies.
The rest of the items were just the rest of your armor pieces, shield, a hacker and a radiation suit (or another kind). Not sure if the backpack counts.
