Not really a solution, but just be aware that the option to upload your score online does not appear unless you've scored 100,000 or greater.
Just a heads up in case you panic (like I did) because the option is not showing up if you've only earned the 50,000 point achievement :)

Got 103k then died. Option did not appear for me. Highly annoying.

Hmm... the game in general seems laggy. Maybe it didn't register that you hit 100k yet since you had just passed it? I'm sorry to hear that :(

HI SCORE Mode has you play the game with limited lives on the default difficulty. This may sound like it would make getting the trophy hard but thanks to the relatively low high score of 107400 points it shouldn’t be too hard if you manage to reach the end of the first stage with your tank intact.
Have a look at the video for a demonstration on how to play through the first level.
