Sokaku has a very spammable 12 hit combo if done correctly but even if you miss or your opponent blocks you can pull off an 8 combo. The Y button is the C button.
Jump+C, Stand+C-C-C, Forward Back Forward+C will pull off the move.
You can shorten it down to Jump+C, Stand+C, Forward Back Forward+C if you must.
Starting with Franco or Andy leads to an easy route. I chose Andy.
(Franco is the easiest first fight but leads to Kim early who was always my run killer. Andy is also pretty easy however and Kim shows up a little later which even though Kim usually ends my runs still I think this is the best path.)
Try not to jump too much when fighting Kim as he loves to take you down when in the air. I tried to personally stick to FBF+C.
Basically when I would get hit and be in a spot where I'm unable to do the combo I would just rotate the stick and Mash Y hoping for best outcome. Forward+C when close to opponent will perform a grab which can help free up distance between you two.
