How to unlock the ALLLLLLLL Night Long! achievement in ACDC LIVE Rock Band - Definitive Guide

Keep these pointers in mind for ALLLLLLLL Night Long!

1) In Solo Tour, one must play through every song on the setlist--it doesn't have to be in order if you unlocked everything through multiple days of playing--without backing out to any of the other menus but the setlist. In other words, figure out your calibration and such before tackling this achievement.

2) No matter how many times you fail a song, as long as you pass all 18 in one session, it doesn't matter if it takes you 100, 200, or a million tries.

3) This does not work in Quickplay, it must be done in Tour Mode.

I'm assuming this isn't like Bladder of Steel from RB2, where you can't pause. You can pause and still be ok, right?

i accidentally left the setlist menu and went back to the difficulty menu during my attempt and it did not unlock.

This happened about a third of the way through. As i was going back to redo the first third, my power went out. Awesome.

Yeah, you just can't go back to the main menu.

Pausing- OK
Failing- OK (as long as you retry and don't back out of the setlist)
Retrying a song- OK
Playing a song you already played- OK (though no idea why you'd want to, unless you missed 5 stars)
Backing out of the setlist for any reason whatsoever- Not OK
Playing in quickplay- Not OK

BTW, playing with more than 1 player DOES work in case anyone was wondering. you have to be on BAND TOUR mode. SORRY for the caps ;)

Do not make the mistake of doing this on expert. I am about 3/4 of the way through and my arms are killing me. ac/dc also has a lot of repetitive very annoying strings of high hat bass that get very tiring and boring. I hate this band right now.

I just did this where I started late at night and ended past midnight and the achievement didn't unlock. I was also disconnected from Xbox live at one point. One of those two caused it to not pop since I never went back to the main menu, pretty annoyed that I have to do it again.

This achievement takes 1h 50m to complete, assuming you don't pause or fail any songs.

This can be done in either Solo Mode or Band Tour Mode. (Quickplay won't work.) Note that if you're playing the pack directly, it uses the RB1 engine; this means that you can't play bass on solo mode, and the band tour mode requires that there be at least 2 people in the band to play. (So only way to earn this achievement on bass is to have at least one other person with you so you can do it on band tour mode.)

Pausing is OK. Failing and retrying is OK. But never back out of the setlist during the session, or it cancels out this achievement.

Can be done on any difficulty. Would suggest you play at whatever difficulty you think you can 5 star all the songs on, so you can get the "We Salute You!" achievement at the same time.

Assuming you don't fail out, and don't pause (or at least not often or for very long) expect this to take about 2 hours playing straight through.
