Easiest way is to play TNT. Make sure you upstrum only, even on the "big Finish". I can confirm you can 'overstrum' and still get this.

Going by previous solutions, "T.N.T." (Live) is the easiest, however, I did want to add a little extra.

If you want to make this achievement even easier, plug in a second guitar controller and play Tug of War.

In Tug of War, you will NEVER fail out from over-strumming and you only play about half (50%) of the notes in the song (i.e. a break from playing notes more often).

If you are familiar with Flawless Fretwork in Rock Band, you'll understand what to do. If not, read below on how to get to Tug of War and what to do from there.

NOTE: There is NO Xbox LIVE multiplayer in this game, so you WILL NEED 2 guitar controllers.



From the main menu, choose:

MULTIPLAYER -> TUG OF WAR

Press the green fret button on your controller that you are signed in to, which makes you the leader.

Press the green fret button on the other guitar controller (player 2).

Press the green fret button on the leader's guitar controller (i.e. your guitar controller) to continue to the setlist.

Select the song "T.N.T." (Live).

Select BASS.

Select EXPERT on both controllers (helps to see the notes you don't play when you get a break).

When the song starts, only pay attention to YOUR side of the screen for the notes you need to play and STRUM UP ONLY!

For the Big Rock Ending (BRE), remember to continue to STRUM UP ONLY (if you decide to play for a few extra points here).

When the BRE multi-colored lanes end, there is ONE more note to play (green) and you MUST STRUM UP ONLY.

Achievement unlocks on the match results screen.

You can just outright skip the big finish if you like (though any notes at the end of it do count towards the 100% total, so don't skip those).

The Jack is definitely the easiest bass song, though it's freaking long. TNT, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Back in Black, are also fairly easy on bass.

The steps to this are:
1) Play TNT
2) Play in Tug of War
3) Put lefty flip on and play in a mirror
4) UPSTRUM ONLY (downstrum if you're lefty flip with a mirror)

Read on for more detail.

First of all, T.N.T. is a short, easy song to 100% on bass. Even if you're not very good, you should be able to do this song with a little practice.

To make it even easier, load up a second controller and go play the song in Tug of War. This makes it so you only have to play half of the song, limiting the overall notes you encounter and therefore increasing your likelihood of getting 100% on the song.

Finally, find a mirror that you can set up facing your TV and put it on lefty flip (righty if you're a lefty). By doing this, you can play it normally as you would righty (because of the mirror) but every down strum for you will be an upstrum since the guitar is technically upside down for lefties. I can confirm this works since that is how I got the achievement.

BE CAREFUL OF THE BIG FINISH! This DOES count for the song so don't go strumming wildly. Skip it to be safe but don't forget the one note after the big finish. If you absolutely must play it, just remember to only do upstrums. When the song finishes and goes to the menu you should get the achievement!
