All you need to do here is skip past the on-screen tutorials and join a room, irrespective of the mode you choose. You don't have to win (I didn't score a single point and got bullied by pros for 5 minutes), and the achievement unlocks once the match concludes.

This also gives you the rank of 'Airman First Class' via the Aircraft Tree for free.
