ACE COMBAT 7: SKIES UNKNOWN

This achievement is for completing the sixth mission of the game and can be obtained on any difficulty.

This is my playthrough of Mission 06 - Long Day on normal.

Time limit: 15:00 (Normal)

Note:
- I would recommend making use of the map and expand it to it's largest size using the view button (the old back button).
- Time is not your friend in this mission so you need to be quick.

First attack the base to the west, it's directly in front of you from the start. The fighters defending the base were an annoyance so I eliminated a few of them but tried not to get too fixated.

After the first area is cleared, move on to the north west base - it's the next quickest to clear. The last base in the north east can be used to mop up any remaining score. I put this last because there are a lot of SAMs, aircraft and canyons, so it's more time consuming to get the kills.

Tip: I played through a couple of hours of multiplayer, gaining enough MRP (in game currency) to purchase the F-15E which made this a lot easier and more fun than the starting F-16C. Around Mission 12, I had enough to purchase the F-22A which is the most capable aircraft I've found so far. The currency, planes and most part upgrade unlocks work across multiplayer / singleplayer but some upgrades are exclusive to multiplayer. You can also go into 'Free Mission' to replay for some extra cash.
