How to unlock the Pulse Perfection achievement in Adera - Definitive Guide

Welcome to my full-walkthrough guide to Adera: Episode 3!
PART 3 OF 6
Make sure you do not click the hint button AT ANY TIME, as this will ruin progress towards the achievement for completing the game without using a hint.

"Pulse Perfection" will be the third achievement you get in Episode 3.

Right, continuing on. Now you've removed the snakes and popped that achievement, leave the blockage for now, and go back to the main screen (by clicking the X in the miniscreen top right corner or the down-pointing arrow near the hint button). Go through the newly-opened door.

In this beautiful area, turn your gaze to the right, and slightly down. You'll see a fuse on the ground. Pick it up. 2/4. Now turn your gaze to the left of where you were first looking when you entered the room. You'll see a spear. Pick it up. Above the spear, you'll see a small water pool, of which your character will mention water beetles. Use the iron forceps to pick up the next fuse. 3/4.

Now look in front of you, into the water. You'll see something in there. Use the surgical hook to pick up an old key. Out of the water mini-screen, turn to the right, and you'll see an opening in the cliff. When you click on it, boulders will fall, blocking your way out. Click the boulder.

Your orb will now glow, and you'll do a minigame.
You only get ONE attempt at this, so if you somehow do fail, you have to start the entire episode over again to get this achievement.

The tutorial image is pretty simple, blue rings close into gold rings, and when the blue rings are over the gold rings, you need to click/tap them. If you do 2 or less mistakes, you can get this next achievement. If you've ever played Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! 1 or 2, or Elite Beat Agents, this should be incredibly simple for you. You have to do 14 rings, and as you go through them, their appearance will get quicker, so be aware of this.

Achievement unlocked.

I tested if Alt + F4 would reset the puzzle. It doesn't. The game seems to save for every ring you click, so you will always need to restart the entire episode if you get too many mistakes.

I just clicked the back arrow after making too many mistakes which left the puzzle. After clicking the orb again I completed the puzzle and still got the achievement.

The solution doesn't make it clear exactly what is required to complete the puzzle properly. I followed what I understood the solution to be based on the instruction provided and the walkthrough, but failed to achieve the goal.

I found another solution below with a video that made this very clear.

Just made a quick video guide I made, showing you how to get the achievement. Basically, that is how the rings should look when you click them.

When you use the orb to view the boulder you will be provided with a basic set of instructions. As the moving rings shrink down towards the "goal" rings they will eventually merge and glow gold briefly. You want to click on each as it reaches that stage and appears to be a single gold ring.

There are only about a dozen rings to click before the power path is completed and the puzzle ends, so missing that perfect click on no more than 3 is fairly simply. Good luck!

Missable.

You will have a minigame to play when you have collected everything from the pool area. This minigame involves you clicking on circles when they are fully focused. You can miss three, and they are quite easy to do, but start speeding up towards the end. If you miss this it is quite near the beginning so won't take you long to go back and try again.
