How to unlock the Bottoms Up achievement in Adios - Definitive Guide

For this, when you're in the soda chapter, just give a 'Root Bear' soda to the hitman by selecting it on the machine, picking it up from the vending machine, and tossing it to the hitman.

Am I missing something, how do.ypu get the soda out of the machine? I have pressed everything on the controller. It doesn't do anything.

Press x when the name of the soda shows. I can't get him to catch a damn thing though.

I had the same issue; it only worked once I completed the game and re-started the section via the chapter select.

For anyone else stuck not able to get any soda, close and restart your game. Hit the button, after you grab the can, hold x to hold the can in front of you. Let go, you'll drop it and he should grab it, might take a try or 2.

For me there is a glitch (xbox series x) that you could go into the soda chapter and once you are free of the talking, you could press or spam x on the machines button and nothing ever came out. I got the achievement by going into scene select after completing the game and selected free roam. Then go to the soda shed, no cutscene there, but it would let me select the button on the machine so I could actually grab the drink and throw it.

Scene - “The Soda”

From Tape Head (50G), exit the house and turn right. Walk over to the waypoint closest to you which should be a small shed. Open the door and continue with the dialogue. When it’s done, approach the soda vending machine and press button-x.png on the ‘Root Bear’ button (top right). This will dispense a can at the bottom of the machine. Press button-x.png to pick it up.

For this achievement, you need to toss a can at the man and he needs to catch it. Turn towards him and aim at his right shoulder (or slightly above). Press button-x.png to toss it and if he catches it, the achievement will unlock. If not, try again.
 
 

The next achievement you will unlock is A Man of Taste (50G).
