How to unlock the Dosh Ahoy achievement in Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion - Definitive Guide

Marceline is the only one who can open Treasure Chests with her Axe. You unlock her in the Candy Kingdom. Just go up to a Treasure Chest and press X to smash the lock open. Repeat 15 times and Achievement Unlocked. There are loads of chests in the game.

Actually wait until you are level 7 across the board to take on these fools. Taking out the pirate hat Banana fool is first pirority (he revives other players). Then go down the line, based on level. Charge up with BMO, then use Claw Attack when possible.

This isn’t anything to do with fighting Pirates. It’s opening Treasure Chests.

Treasure chests can, unfortunately, only be opened by Marceline. You will find plenty of chests starting with the Candy Kingdom, then Evil Forest. If you haven't obtained this by your journey through the Evil Forest, you will have plenty of other opportunities with the Fire Kingdom, Firebreak Island, and the deeper parts of the forest itself.

You will first encounter treasure chests in the Candy Kingdom – use the pirate lookout to reveal all of them on your map. You will first need to recruit Marceline (story-related), as her axe is needed to break the chains on the chests.

While you only need to open 15 chests to get the platinum, it is in your interest to open as many as possible, as they provide a lot of money you can use for stat upgrades, as well as great items, special attacks for each character, and valuable increases to your special move bar.

After Marceline joins your crew, you will be able to crack open some treasures you saw before but couldn't open with Finn's sword. Marceline has an axe; just walk up or fight your way by pressing and smashing it for some pirate gold. If you have unlocked the lookout point for that island with Finn, you can hit select and the map will show where most of them are on that island. Open and loot 15 of them and you will unlock this achievement.

Only Marceline can open chests. So first open it according to the story. There are many more chests than you need!
