How to unlock the Quadrilateral! achievement in Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion - Definitive Guide

I got this one during the Mother Varmint battle in the Candy Kingdom. Some time after you get The Big Mother Varmint under half hit points it will spawn 4 small varmints. You can overskronk all 4 with Jake's (Whomp Whomp Whomp) Dogerang special ability. Jake was level 5 at the time I got it.

I missed this on my playthrough.. now I'm in final part of the game "pull the plug". Is there any other way to get this achievement?

This works really well, but sadly there is a bug that won't give you the achievement right away. So once you do this method and you kill all of the Small Varmints make sure to close your game. Once you reload your game you will in front of the Mother again and once you get her halfway again and face off the Small Varmints make sure to do the Whomp whomp whomp attack again and you should be able to get it then.

Thank you for the solution, it worked for me! Just a tip for players who potentially miss out on this achievement during this battle, I believe it is possible to use the same technique during battles within the 'past control' side quest at the small fire island near the fire kingdom!

This is very easy to get and very early in the game to achieve. After the interrogation with the Ice King, Finn and Jake will run into rogue banana guards (4 of them). With The single attacker’s, spread them out until two things happen: the Ice Sword becomes available and the banana guard’s health is around 20 HP (they have 60 HP to start with). With patients and well placed hits from Jake - using the denfensive shield as a “pass” for Jake’s turn, Finn and build up and use the Ice Sword to overkill each one of the banana guards.

Very controlled and easy fight to get the overkill shots on.

NOTE: I can confirm the Mother Varmit fight will yield a 4 overkill shot with Jake’s boomerang special attack (make sure to put points into building up the attack for better damage) once the mother spawns her babies into the fight.

Happy achievement hunting :D

Was struggling with this at a higher level. Restarted a new game and got it at the first battle. If you mess up you can dashboard and it will take you right before this battle!

In the sidequest Pest Control in Firebreak Island, the vermints are Level 4 and die in one hit from Finn's Ice Sword's Frozen Storm. I was level 9 by then.

This was where I got it. Just have Marcy heal every turn, Jake block, and BMO scan the enemies or restore energy. Use Finn's ice attack special that costs 6 points. All four overkronked!

It's like an overkill. An attack that is too powerful.

I’ve just tried this method. Got all four varmints overskronked but the achievement didn’t pop. Does anyone have any idea why this might glitch? (I definitely don’t have the achievement)

I just finished this game and somehow unlocked the “Get All Achievements in the Game” cheeve yet this one is still locked. Seems to be glitched as I’ve done this 3 times now.

To overskronk is to overkill something well beyond the required health it has left to be defeated. For myself, this was accomplished as early as the first naval battle with just Finn and Jake. You'll want to get the enemies down as low as possible, then come in and overpower them. It is challenging to get this without manipulating your odds with some powerful hits.

I got this one against random enemies that were level 3 and 4 (all mine were 5). I just knocked down their health one at a time with my four characters until they had below 80 HP. The last one had between 100 and 150 HP, and it was Marcy's turn but she was flumped (I wanted to use her heal move to avoid knocking it out but couldn't). So I used a Vampire Stuff (I hadn't levelled it up yet) and that worked.

Then on Jake's next turn, I used Womp Womp Womp on them to kill all of them for the achievement.

This is best done when a higher level. Basically you want to overkill the enemies in the same battle four times. This does not have to be at the same time but in the same fight. If you use BMO's analyze.exe ability you can find out the enemies weaknesses and stats. Some enemies may not have a weakness. Sometimes just using an overkill ability like Jake's super one, where he rolls over enemies, will do.

The best place for this achievement is during the Mother Varmint battle during main story when you go back to Candy Kingdom on your third visit. If needed use fire gems and Jake's Dograng ability.

From Hawkings - "You can also try this on the first fight of the game. Use the ice sword ability on each enemy and block on every turn while it charges up." Or, try the Evil Forest and Firebreak Island quest for four enemies to defeat.

As the other solution says this is for overkilling 4 enemies in a single battle and can be done in the first naval battle, however if you miss it here another failry easy place to get this is when you do the side quest on firebreak island. You'll need to kill groups of enemies that are weak to ice attacks. The second group is a group of 4, and if you have levelled up the Ice Sword on Finn, you can overskronk 2 of them at a time with his Frozen Storm special attack while blocking or boosting energy with other characters.

Overskronk is this game's version of overkill. The game doesn't do a great job explaining how to do it; generally speaking, if you deal a lot of damage to an enemy as the killing blow, you can possibly send the enemy into overskronk. If you kill the enemy with its elemental weakness, you don't seem to need to deal as much damage than if you killed an enemy with a non-weakness.

There's often (not always) a fight in the Candy Kingdom near the front of the palace, which will pit you against four level 2-3 fairies – they all have elemental weaknesses. When you're around level 3-4 and have upgraded your elemental attacks, enter this battle with Finn, Marcy, and Jake. Each character's 3- or 4-point elemental attack should one-hit kill a fairy, guaranteeing an overskronk – use Jake against the yellow fairies (to be cautious, I'd use the boomerang attack over the tornado one), Finn against the red fairies, and Marcy against the blue ones. This battle will respawn a few times, so it's not a one-chance thing (it seems to disappear once one character hits level 4-5).

On your second visit to Evil Forest to recruit BMO, there is a BMO gate in the area where the left pirate lookout was. In front of this gate there will often be four enemies who are weak to fire. Whack each of them a few times to get their health down to half, then finish them off with Marcy's fire attack. As long as you've powered her special attacks up, they should all go into overskronk when they die.

The Mother Varmint boss fight is another good place to try this, as she'll often summon four lesser varmints.

Post-game, most of the enemy encounters in the Evil Forest will have four enemies (the group I mentioned above will still be there, too). They will tend to be levels 5-7, so upgrade your attack powers accordingly.

Easiest way to unlock this is to wait until you've fully upgraded all characters.

Then go to the evil forest and find 4 frog like creatures. Go into battle and make sure all enemies are at level 1, 2, 3 or 4 (basically low). In battle, use BMO to up your power rankings. Skip each go for everyone but Finn. You can literally strike 2 frogs out with Finn's golden sword at level 10 at once.

Here's a video that has a better understanding. I might delete it in the future though.

You need to finish off each one with something to which he is vulnerable in one battle with four opponents. For example, fire guards - with Finn's ice sword, Banana Pirates - with Jake's Boomerang, etc. Finish off the enemy only with the necessary technique and hero. You can always skip a turn for an unnecessary hero by blocking or using a special skill (Marceline and Bemo)

Take the bimo. Go to the sweet kingdom .
Find the blue star on the map.
Drain the river behind the bimo. Jump into the hole under the waterfall.
Kill 3 loshkov. (It doesn’t matter how, and you can’t pass it any other way)
Next we see 4 loshkov. (spawn is always different)
I had 2 ice and 2 regular ones,
SCANNING for the bimo of all the losers.
Let's see whose fire will be surrounded by a green arrow. THIS IS WHAT WE NEED
Let's see whose Sun (or what kind of yellow thing is it) will be surrounded by a green arrow
And we make a mistake on the last XP, the ulta BIMo - this is his sun, or Marceline. she has a fire ax.
Just scan and see your weaknesses, and stock up on BATTERIES my friend

The easiest way to get this achievement is:

1. We go through the game until the battle with the pink boss.
2. After the battle, a quest will be available from the fire king (a character in a spacesuit). That's what we need.
3. At the very beginning of the quest there will be 3 fiery critters, after them we go up to the top, cross the bridge and in front of us there will be 4 exactly the same creatures. We kill them with Fin's ice sword and voila!

PS At the time of completing the quest, all my characters were level 10 and fully upgraded, so one sword blow was enough for one critter.
