Land destructibles are anything you can break that rewards you with dosh or items on the mainlands throughout the flooded Ooo. I would highly recommend breaking any you come across repeatedly to get some boost in Dosh early on to afford upgrades, not only to stats but to Specials too. I frequently used Finn's Ice Blade and Jake's Dogerang throughout the run.

Whenever you land on an island, you'll be able to break various environmental items with Finn's sword by pressing . These items are themed based on where you are – so, for example, the Ice Kingdom has icicles, while the Candy Kingdom has food. Whenever you get back on the boat, all of the land destructibles will respawn.

Breaking these items are in your interest, anyways, as they often contain money (needed for upgrades) or inventory items.

This can be done in time while playing. Just make sure you are smashing with ; every donut, candy, and jem rocks in the village of the island you are on. This is a great way to farm money if you are low, especially Evil Forest or Fire Kingdom. Don't use Jake for this it's very hard to control him without hitting something.
