How to unlock the This is Bunk achievement in Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion - Definitive Guide

A bunk effect is a status effect you can inflict on enemies by using your special moves (or certain items) against them.

To get this you will need to use at least 2 special moves (and/or bunk items) successfully against the same enemy.

The attached video guide covers all achievements and collectibles and covers this particular achievement at 12:52:

First, use a special ability to inflict a bunk (debuff or status effect) on an enemy. Next, use a tissue (you can purchase one from the shop) on the enemy and then inflict a second bunk on it.

If you're not sure what they're affected by, you can wait to get this achievement until you have BMO in your party. Analyze.exe can reveal every bit of information you need to know about an enemy, including what bunk they're weak against..

If you do that, you'll unlock:

Bunk effects are classified as debuffs. Finn can cause: frozen, sleep, and I can't remember what his third sword can cause; Jake can cause Boggled and Flumping; Marceline can Overheat or Jinx; and BMO can shock, overheat, flump, or the righteousness ability. You will probably end up getting this during the first boss fight. You can use special items, bought from Choose Goose or from sidequest rewards, to increase the chance of bunk effects taking hold.

Bunk effects are bad status effects that your special attacks can sometimes inflict on enemies. For example, Finn's ice sword can freeze enemies, Marcy's fire axe can cause burning, etc. Some attacks (like Finn's ice sword) can cause multiples at once (usually freezing and speed down); the game will still count this as a single bunk effect.

This will most likely come naturally during boss fights, as you'll be more likely to use multiple special attacks against them than you would against regular enemies (I got this during the fight against Fern). If you're worried, the shops sell an item that makes enemies more susceptible to bunk effects.

Bunk effects are status condition if you've ever played Pokemon or Final Fantasy. These conditions may come from a special power attack from one of the characters or an item that can increase the chances of a bunk. The item you should buy to increase the chances is the stinky sock.

You should get this naturally when killing bosses or multiple enemies. Just make sure you have two effects on a single enemy, for example, Slow Speed and Frozen.
