How to unlock the Welcome to the Elite! achievement in AEW: Fight Forever - Definitive Guide
I'm unaware if there are multiple ways to win the AEW World Championship in Road to Elite, but the way that I accomplished this was to take an existing AEW wrestler (I used Sting) and won the opening Casino Battle Royale (similar to the Royal Rumble) at Double or Nothing in Las Vegas. I attempted this with a custom wrestler multiple times but I found it really difficult to stay in the match due to the lower ratings; stock wrestlers have already existing ratings that help you stay in the match. Additionally, I think you always draw a low number and start the match rather than being a later entrant (I kept drawing the 2 of Spades). A few tips for the Casino Battle Royale:
- Build your momentum and try to keep it there; once you have low momentum, it seems like it is easier to get you out of the ring
- Use finishers to knock other's momentum down (once you're at Signature in your momentum, move in any direction to get to special momentum, then move again once it shows above an opponents head to perform it)
- Once the other wrestlers are low momentum, grapple with and whip them towards the nearest rope with the direction and , then when they flip over, grapple again with and that should knock them out
- The other wrestlers in the ring change their focus a lot, so be aware that even though you're trying to take someone out, another may decide to come get you; change your focus with clicking in
- If someone has special momentum (wrestlers come into the ring with hot momentum and can get special after a few attacks), you can choose to stay away from them, or you can go attack; attacking them can help you build your own momentum, but it can also backfire if they are able to hit their finisher
Once you've won the Battle Royale, you have a few matches on Dynamite until All Out in Jacksonville. I faced Chris Jericho, and beat him to become the AEW World Champion. Then, the achievement popped once I got back to the Road to Elite main menu.

As long as you keep winning matches you'll eventually win the AEW World Championship. You can do this in as few as five matches if you win the Casino Battle Royale at the start, though I lost this in my first playthrough and went undefeated after that, and I won the World Championship in my very last match. You're sure to get this in one of the ten Road to Elite runs you'll have to do.
