This'll come easily if you set the quarters to ten minutes each, I had tried achieving this within the five minute quarters but couldn't quite get it done. My best was 27 touches with Sharrod Wellingham (Coll).
In ruck contests you'll just about always have a free man and it's quite often the same player each time (unless they're being rested on the bench). So if you're adept at ruck work, you should have no trouble consistently tapping it down to the free player. Once the player takes possession, just fire off a handball by hitting B.
It doesn't really matter where it goes, efficiency isn't a factor here. Wherever it winds up, just try to cause another ball-up so you can rinse and repeat; executing a few one-twos here and there will also help your cause and make things a bit easier.
The achievement unlocks as soon as the fortieth disposal is notched up, so you won't need to play out the game once your player has been diagnosed with 'leather poisoning'.
Chris8875 - He's also noted that turning off interchange rotations will help ensure the same midfielders receive the ball from your ruck taps every time. This is just another little thing you can do to help yourself make this achievement easier.

Further to this - what I also did was set the interchange rotations to "off". That way, the same midfield players were getting the ball all the time as they stayed on the ground all the time.

Create a single match with any teams, but set the quarter length to 20 minutes. During the game, decide upon which player you’re going to have get 40 disposals, and make sure you get the ball to them a lot. Be sure to check your progress at the end of each quarter. This is also achievable during the Legend season.
