The description for this achievement is deceptive to say the least, as I had a number of games in my home and away season where I shut the opponent down in the last quarter, preventing them from scoring.
The trick is to be behind at 3QT.
So if you're down by even one point, then "storm home" to win without them scoring, you should net this achievement. This can be done with two controllers, so if you use the second player to kick a score, then just romp home with your main account you should be golden.

During any game, when you reach the fourth quarter, stop your opponent from scoring a goal in the final quarter. This is most easily done on the easiest difficulty, with 3 minute quarters.
