easy to do with the right player and the MCG ground and no wind. chip kick the ball around until you get a mark just outside of the 50M arch.
check if you have a left or right footer (your player will need to look outside of the left point post if a right footer and vise versa) aim your player so he is facing out of bounds, looking slightly to the outside of the point post (about half the distance of the point post to the goal post should do). if this aiming does not work you will need to work out what does work for you.
pull RT and hold and then hold down X (do not let go of RT).
most ruckmen and big forwrds are capable of doing this but are not necessary.
i kicked a torpedo from the centre square to unlock 3 achievements using Jarrad Blair.

When on the run towards your goal, or from a set shot, hold 
+
to kick a torpedo. (If you are near the boundary, it will do a banana kick instead, so make sure you’re near the centre.)
Also make sure you kick from a few metres outside the fifty, as I described in "50 Metre Bomb."
