How to unlock the Off Suit Samurai achievement in AFRO SAMURAI - Definitive Guide
The method I used to get Off Suit Samurai is the following:
On the level Doppelganger towards the end of the level you come to a long bridge, where you get stopped by five samurai. Behind where they come from, Ninja Ninja is sitting behind them. Walk up to him to start the Body Part Poker mini game.
What I did was use horizontal perfect slices (LT) + hold X till the spark gets to the end of blade, and aimed for the head. As soon as you connect with a slice do it again aiming for the head. Keep doing this till you get the head to slice off one perfect slice after another.
Then move to doing perfect vertical slices (LT)+ hold Y till the spark gets to the end of the blade, till you chop off the hand and the leg repeating perfect slices until you chop both off.
This take some practice it took me about 10 tries and some luck to get it. If you fail you can jump off the bridge to reset and try again.

Sweet. Got it on my second official try...on Number One Headband! :D

I ended up only doing horizontal perfect slices, starting with the legs, then going for the upper body. Slashing in the same area in the upper body could yield both hands and heads. Thanks for the help!

This cheev was really frustrating for me, lol! but i did manage to eventually get it thanks to some tips offered up by some of the members here and other places on the net. yet.. there arn't too many solutions for this, outside of "its just like all the others - happy hunting!" which also was annoying.. i wanted to expand on one or two things i had noticed while i got this one.
The principle of this achievement is to activate Ninja-Ninja's Body part Poker and slice off a Samurai's head, a Samurai's hand, and a Samurai's foot to get a flush - no specific order necessary. Now you can most easily (especially in the case of Samurai) cleave off body parts with perfect strikes by charging your focus (LT) and holding either X (horizontal strike) or Y (vertical strike) until the 'glint' on Afro's blade reaches the tip then release.
An annoying thing about this achievement is (well there's a couple).. the only real place where there is at least 3 Samurai to work with is at the end of the Doppelganger level, on the bridge. There's 5 here, and there's a checkpoint right at the start of this - so if you mess up you can just take a dive off the bridge and restart at the beginning of the bridge. no problem.
Another annoying part is that there are no teddy-bears to bump up your focus for perfect strikes.. you can often find yourself scrapping the bottom of a bottle of Ritalin to find focus, half way through a face-off with a samurai if you keep missing strikes or have them blocked. You can get your focus back up easy enough.. but be prepared for that (i spammed kicks, to try and manage how much damage i was doing to the Samurai better - don't know if it worked, but it made me feel better about it).
One of the things i kept running into quite frequently was timing out, as samurais can take a beating: one technique that i saw one or two guides professing was to off two of the samurai, and beat down the remaining three until they get get stunned when you parry their strikes.. then activate BPP so that when you go for your strikes you don't have to spend a majority of the time beating them down. This takes forever and cut-scene at the start of each attempt.. got real annoying really quick - lol
At the same time, it is really hard to gauge how far down in health those samurai are since their armor is red. Outside from letting them get stunned in a parry, there really is no indicator. You can sort of gauge that they are about halfway when their sandals (of all things) turn red - they start out kinda white/bluish.. and their back starts getting that red shadow, but that's about it. For people attempting it this way.. i hope those insights help... for me i still kept timing out. or dieing from taking on damage from the other samurai while playing patty-cake with my target..
For me this wasn't working out and i was getting more frustrated, seemed like a lot of time to invest into a "run" just to have it all go downhill super fast - but that's why its an achievement and that's why we do this yea? LMAO!
Now.. a different route - one thing to consider is once you have all your skills (all 61).. well maybe not all of them is necessary.. but say you are at least most of the way through your second play-through k? by this time you can do 4 sequential perfect slashes. like a perfect spam slash. Samurai tended to only effectively block like.. 2 or 3 of them. So I was finding that I was burning through a samurai pretty damn quick once I get to this point in my build and took this strategy on.
So in summary here's what i ended up doing:
I took out one of the samurai, leaving 4. One for backup just in case i fouled out on one of the strikes (when you kill them, but don't get a head, hand or foot strike).
I activated Ninja Ninja's Poker
Just started going to town on the Samurai.. i wasn't wasting time trying to properly whittle them down in health.
Block once, spam 4 perfect X (LT+X) blows aimed at the head
Block once, spam 4 perfect X (LT+X) blows aimed at the legs
Block once, work on that arm with perfect Y (LT+Y) strikes..
Many people are having some good luck with X strikes on all limbs, catching the hands in a mid range X strike.. but i kept fouling out (I'm also a bit impatient, and i tend not to aim my focus). I was able to get the hand with Y strikes aimed to the left or right. I also left the hand for last but that was a personal choice.
One thing to note, you cannot pounce + head-strike a samurai no matter how near death they are - at least I was never able to.
Hope that helps fill this one out some.

Thanks for the tip dude, had to beat them down a lot and got lucky with my slices, annoying as hell when you spend 5 minutes beating them down and get two legs though. Thumbs up

Same as Ronin except done on a Samurai, the samurai are hard to Parry and aren’t to frequent compared to the Ronin enemies. This can be found on the level "DoppelGanger", After you defeat Droid Afro Samurai continue on the level and you will come to a huge bridge with 5 Samurais and along with a Ninja Ninja Body Poker challenge behind them.

Five samurai will attack you at once on the level THE DOPPELGANGER. And this is the only place where you can get the achievement. The only problem is that they themselves are very difficult to cut down. They do not dodge, but they block attacks very well. Hit the same spot several times and maybe you will be lucky enough to cut something down. You can also beat the samurai a little before approaching Ninja Ninja, low health increases the chance of a successful focus attack.
