How to unlock the Emergency Order achievement in AFTER BURNER CLIMAX - Definitive Guide

First possible oppurtunity to do this is on Stage 3, when you hear the people on your radio mentioning "The Prototype". When you see a ship which has the words "Target" with an arrow pointing at it, just absolutely unload into it.

It's even easier if you have Climax mode ready to do, as you have unlimited missiles in Climax mode, so you can slow down, and absolutely spam missiles when you've locked onto it for an easy 20 gamerpoints.

The first time you can achieve this is in the 3rd level where you are flying thru the mountain area. Late in the stage comes an airplane that you must shoot down. You will know that this is the important task with the Red sights on him and the achievement symbol (cross) appears in the middle - lower area.
Shoot the plane down and the achievement is yours

The 1st chance to do this is during stage 3. During the level there will be a prototype plane flying ahead of you and will have the word "target" in red next to it. Shoot the plane down for the trophy. Use climax mode to make it as easy as possible.

Emergency Orders are secondary objectives you can do during certain stages of arcade mode. The first one is during stage 3. To complete the Emergency Order in stage 3 all you have to do is to shoot down an enemy aircraft called the "Prototype". You will easily spot it as it has a red sign spelling "Target" above it. There are more Emergency Orders in the following stages in case you miss this one. Whenever there's an Emergency Order available, you'll get a little symbol at the bottom of the screen that looks exactly the same as the trophy image.

If you look at the symbol in the achievement picture, you will see this at the bottom of your screen on four of the stages, this is an Emergency Order Mission. Simply complete the mission (not the stage) for this achievement. The first Emergency Order Mission is on Stage 3, simply shoot down the Fighter with the word Target by it and the achievement is yours.

You need to shoot down the Prototype that appears in the mountainous stages.
