How to unlock the Exquisite Artwork achievement in Agatha Christie - Hercule Poirot: The First Cases - Definitive Guide
You can get this around the middle of Chapter 5, after you are done researching the Major's study. You will find yourself, for the first time in the game, on the top floor of the manor. On the opposite side of the hallway area from where you start there are four paintings on the walls (three on one wall, one on another). Interact with all four to unlock the achievement.
*MISSABLE*
This achievement spans multiple chapters across most of the game, and with no chapter select, becomes highly missable.
There are a total of eight paintings that you need to inspect for this achievement. The "main hall" referred to in the description consists of three floors, not all of which are always available to walk around and explore. However, multiple paintings are available to inspect in multiple chapters, so I have listed when you can first inspect them.

Chapter 1
- Grand Hall (bottom floor, where you enter the house) - 1 painting to inspect, in the right hallway, next to the first door you come to
- Main Hall First Floor (upstairs once from the bottom floor) - 3 paintings to inspect, all along the leftmost wall
- Main Hall First Floor - for some reason, of the 3 paintings inspected above, the middle painting shows up as a new item to inspect. This would be a ninth item on the list, and I'm not sure if it is needed, but better safe than sorry.
- Main Hall Second Floor - 4 paintings to inspect (three on the left wall and one on the back left wall)
