This bugged for me. The game loaded up Act 3 and continued without pinging the achievement. I had to reload the previous checkpoint the game gives you just before you leave Act 2 3-4 times and the achievement was given immediately when Act 3 loaded up and I had control of Poirot in the first instance.

This one doesn't seem to pop on completing Act 2 right away, you have to wait until you've talked to Hastings and then, as you say, get control of Poirot again.

Thanks Stu. That is correct. This one doesn't pop until after you chat with Hastings at Poirots apartment
