- Exit the butcher's and head left. Interact with the street light or the street beyond to cross the street.
- Head all the way left to the last building/door before the next street, and go inside. This is Nika's house, for future reference
- Talk to Nika's mom on the couch, then go upstairs
- Interact with the hammer on the ground in the lower right, then talk to Nika. Choose the first dialogue option about the hammer, and the second one about the blank book, and then you can exit the conversation (rightmost dialogue option)
- Pick up the hammer from the ground and then leave her house.
