you cannot attack someone who is currently playing, and you cannot be attacked while playing, only while away from the game. if you try to start playing while being attacked it will make you wait. when you enter the game after a break it will let you know how many times you were attacked and your total crown loss or gain. it doesn't specifically say how many times you win or lose, but you can check your defense log or achievement list to see your progress.

From my experience, you have little chance of defeating a invading army until ages four and five. Even with upgraded fortifications in the early ages the troops are just too many and too strong. Now in age 5 my towers, catapults, defending troops, and spikes do a lot of damage.

catapults are the main defense you got. I see people attacking me all the time lose because my two upgraded catapults wreck them. Make sure to put it behind a wall

The key to winning is for the enemy all to be dead before they reach 50% resources or stop them taking out the Keep. As you have no overall control when being attacked you need to ensure your stores are hard to get and defended and the same with the Keep. If you keep getting hit again and again (especially by the same players) it pays to watch replays to see if there is any pattern in attacks. Where are the weak spots?
Think how you attack or look to attack - that bit of open ground tempting? Generally it'll be Fire Trapped. You will find it easier as you progress your Keep to defend better as you'll get more towers, walls and defenses.
It's quite popular to 'section' areas so that the Keep is central and other areas are walled off, with walls between each section, making it so that if an attacker gets through a wall they still have another to get through.
You could also try deliberately hitting lower rated players in random fights to get them to Revenge against you, and hopefully lose!
Expect a lot of defeats, but a constant attacker is a good thing - watch their technique, and then change your defences, Revenge on them, and wait to see the result of your labour.

I found the revenge button. Thanks! Problem now is that only few people attacked me. Any ideas to make more people attack me so I can have a chance do defend my castle?

If you use the Crossed Swords icon to find battles you can browse (at cost of apples!) battles to fight. Skip those you are not sure of but you might get some easily attackable castles. Attack enough people and someone will revenge on you, and you can then revenge on them..........and so on.

If you are having troubles getting this annoying achievement and everyone is destroying you then you need to lower the number of crowns that you have the more crowns you have the stronger players who can attack you so try to have a number between 200 and 300 crowns and try to attack some players so you can lure them to revenge attack on you, good luck
